When our new clients, the Malibu Hotel Group, signed up with us, they gave their previous web hosting company a courtesy call, informing them that they were switching services. In response, that hosting company immediately turned off all their websites.
The Malibu Hotel Group was in a dire situation! We hated to see them lose out on direct online bookings, so our team worked furiously to get all 4 of their hotel websites up and running. 23.5 hours later, we succeeded in publishing a beautiful, brand new web presence for all 4 properties–miles ahead of what they had before, and already set up to take direct bookings.
Kudos to everyone who made this happen so quickly! You can visit their 4 new hotel websites here:
Dean: Hi. Dean Desilet and Katie Lent here from buuteeq to tell a little story about a customer issue and success that happened here this week. We acquired a new customer, the Malibu Hotel Group, with four hotels. They kind of had an urgent situation in that their previous provider turned off their websites yesterday, about the same time that they became a buuteeq customer. We were able to get their four new independent websites up and running in 23.5 hours, which is pretty close to record time here at buuteeq. The customer is back in business. All of their online marketing had been offline for a day, and we got them back up and running in very short order. It was pretty crazy and fun for us.
Kate: But it was a very easy process for us. The group sent us everything that we needed from photos to text. We put everything into our system and, as Dean said, got the sites up in 23.5 hours.
Brandon: Well you two look pretty excited about this. We had a big celebration in the office just a moment ago, bells ringing, people cheering. What does it feel like?
Katie: There may have been some cartwheels going on.
Dean: Yeah, it’s always exciting new sites go live, and in a situation like this, where the customer was clearly suffering pain having had their sites turned off, the team here at buuteeq really stepped up and got the work done in a crisis situation that the customer was faced with. Things went much, much faster. It just shows the capability of a cloud to DMS and how fast things can go, particularly when the customer has provided the assets that we needed to make it happen quickly. The system is fast.
Brandon: And what time of the day is it, and what day of the week is it today?
Dean: Yeah. Now it’s about 3:30 on Friday afternoon.
Katie: And it’s gorgeous out in Seattle, and we’re itching to get outside.
Dean: We’re glad to get these sites live because there’s delicious IPAs waiting for us here in the Northwest.
Brandon: Well, congratulations to them and congratulations to both of you for getting it up so quickly.
Dean: All right. Thanks, Brandon.
Katie: Thanks, Brandon.
