Upgraded Hotel Maps & Locations
One of the most important portions of a hotel website is its directions and maps. After all, if a guest can’t find you, what good is your digital marketing? buuteeq has made a significant investment into our map and locations design to ensure that guests can always find your hotel as easily as possible.
Cowper’ Inn’s previous Locations page had simple text directions (turn left at X, turn right at Y). Their map was a screenshot of a Google map location that was not interactive.
Their new map buuteeq powered map is interactive and completely customizable. The owners were able to list all the major points of interest near their hotel—restaurants, museums, movies and markets—which integrate with their interactive map so guests can find driving and walking directions from their hotel. Each point of interest has a description and photos customized by the hotel owner, and guests can browse by Map or Satellite views.
Cowper Inn: The Story
Our dedicated account manager Karen had a nice chat with Joji to learn more about her hotel. Cowper Inn’s claim-to-fame is that they are the only ‘true’ bed and breakfast in Palo Alto, offering a true b&b experience that you can’t get from a big-box hotel. The building is an historical landmark home-turned-b&b with gorgeous, well-kept living areas.
One of their latest additions is their yoga loft. A monk from the Tashi Lahmpo monastery in Tibet visited a local museum in Palo Alto, where Joji met him. She was inspired by the meeting to create a Yoga loft at Cowper Inn, which is now open. The monk visits Cowper Inn every year to teach at her yoga loft, which she designed to provide guests relaxation and tranquility, and to give back to her local community.
